Bridal Combs

Wanted a new challenge so decide I would give bridal combs a go, Thoroughly enjoying making them, have made a couple of different ones using various beads, hope to be able to get more creative with practice, Here are some of the designs I have done. I will be selling these on my website ....

Top left is made using 4mm bicone beads and 4mm faux pearl beads, I also added a round silver brad.

Top right is made with 4mm apple green and white pearl beads.

Bottom one is made using 4mm bicone beads - Purple mix.

I am quite pleased with how they turned out.

My Mums Birthday Card

Morning all, it makes a nice change this time of year to make a card other than a Christmas card, It's my mums birthday Tuesday so made her this yesterday.

Materials: C6 white card

Silver Peel offs

Kaban topper (Butterfly) 

Promarkers - Forest green, Plum, Pale pink.

2 x Backing papers

1 x border (from the kanban topper set)

Clear Gems

Christmas Angel Card for my Daughter

Evening all.

Made this lovely angel card for my daughter in pink as she loves pink.

Main image is an Angel colouring page, I used a pink bauble style background paper for the main card. And some bling of course.

My New Animal Addition

Evening all,

My hubby wanted a chameleon for christmas, we already have 2 bearded dragons who are lovely and docile and love the kids. So I brought him a 6 month old Yemen Chameleon female,

Here she is sitting on hubby head, she loves hair for some reason ....

She is settled in well, has a nice 4ft home with lots of branches and plants.

My Bearded Dragon female had 13 eggs and we have 4 babies left to go to homes. 

2 are off 2mrw and the other 2 will be off to homes soon just waiting for them to confirm when they want them.

Was an unexpected time for us as she was pregnant when we got her, found out after we had her for 3 weeks and she started acting perculiar, was a great experience watching her lay her eggs, We incubated in home made incubator and all 13 eggs hatched we raised the babies and have homes for all of them with enquiries that we have had to turn away. Also enquiries from pet shop so may look at breeding her next year.

Feline/Paper Playful Friday Challenges

Afternoon,

have made a start very late on Christmas cards for my family, I started with Paper Playful's Friday Challenges. 
My first card is a mouse theme card... Starting with the challenege for Winter Wonderland challenge blog A Christmas Mouse

materials used: C6 white card. Free blue papers from the internet, Silver ribbon, Crystal gems, Snowflake paper, Colouring page image, Pro markers. 

I made the hat and stars 3D, And added some bling gems to the hat rim. 

I think he is rather cute, Not sure which family member to pick yet though.

Christmas Shopping

Hi all.

Am off Chrsitmas shopping at Bluewater Dartford tonight. hoping for some inspiration for the kids presents.

Most of my baby bearded dragons are now sold, Just 6 little fellas or missus left, although they are reserved.

6 Chameleon Eggs incubating and doing well, Hoping they will hatch will then have 6 little Bearded Pygmy Chameleons, They are so cute and very tiny.

My Pygmy Chameleon Tank

Evening all,

I have to adult pygmy chameleons, well they are hubby's really. Not long purchased and the tank was a little bare ....

So decided to give it a little spruce up .....

Ta dah .....

So much better and 2nd pic is my chams testing it out .....Had a little surprise while cleaning out the tank took the soil out to change and found 6 little eggs, They are tiny about the size of a tic tac. Have put them in an incubator to see if they hatch. My bearded Dragons were hatched in a home made incubator they are 5 weeks now and most are off to homes next week.

Sweets came today yummy. Sadly not for munching but for my nieces baby shower favours ...

So invites are done, most of the baby favours and games are sorted. Thats my part done, just got a few more favours today, which will be teddy bear soaps which hoping soap base will arrive tomorrow.

Off to bed now, Got nurse in the morning, Had a mole removed which was quite deep a week ago and need the stitches out in the morning. Not looking froward to it but needs must, thats life lol.

My Neice's Baby Shower

Hi all, my neice is pregnant and due Christmas, she is having a baby shower this friday, So I have been compiling games, Doing the invites and favours.

There are lots of different games that are free printables, I used some of these designs and adjusted the image to my own designs .... Here are a few of the pics ....
